What customers say?

“ Food tastes very good. You will be surprised. Dont let the appearance of the shop fool you. ”

“ The tuna is simply delicious! The cheek meat butter (900 yen) is also delicious, but I recommend the tuna sashimi (550 yen)! I recommend adding lots of wasabi without being afraid For Monjayaki, I ordered the seafood oyako, and the salmon roe topping was amazing! It really brought out the flavor of the salmon and shrimp ”

“ This was my first time here. Fortunately, there was a table available, so I was able to get in. ◉ Tuna Cheek Tender and perfectly seasoned with a soy sauce-based base and a hint of butter. ◉ Offal The unique sweetness of the offal is brought out perfectly, and the seasoning is perfect for a solo meal! ◉ Noto Mix The fluffy batter combines seafood and meat, and the crisp cabbage is irresistible. ◉ Scallops with Refreshing Lemon Perfect for the coming season! The refreshing lemon aroma hits your nose, and the monjayaki with scallop stock is addictive. And so much more! I ended up eating so much that I almost bursting at the seams... Delicious It was delicious, and paired well with craft beer. It was amazing. I'd love to visit again. Thank you for the meal ”

“ A delicious authentic experience. Use Google translate on the menu. Watch what others are doing and you'll be cooking in no time. The space is fun with groups cooking, chatting and smoking. Large windows are open for fresh air. Would definitely come back. ”

“ I went there because someone recommended it. The second floor reminded me of my parents' home hall, and it felt like summer vacation. There were a variety of monjayaki, which was fun, and the other dishes were delicious. It was my first time trying salmon roe. The flavor was rather strong. The bean paste rolls and cheese rolls are must-haves, and I also ordered ice cream on top, which was excellent. A nostalgic and delicious taste. ”

“ During my usual stroll around Tsukishima looking for monjayaki, I happened upon the Noto Main Branch one night and dropped in. Last order was at 9:30 PM, so I managed to get in just in time. Cash only, the restaurant has a weathered exterior and interior that suggests it's been around for ages. I was ushered upstairs and seated in a tatami-style setting. I had high hopes after seeing the photos of the sashimi, but they were sold out that day. So sad, I'll have to come back. But!!! In the end, the monjayaki was divine. First, I ordered the horumon (horumon innards). The quality of the marucho meat was incredibly good. Honestly, it was far tastier than your average yakiniku restaurant—a real hit!! Next, I had the croquette and corn monjayaki. The recipe is the same as usual, just mash the croquette and mix it in at the end. I was surprised at how perfectly flavored it was. Sweets? Treats? It's so addictively delicious and quite refreshing. I could eat as many as I wanted; it was amazing. Finally, we had scallop lemon monja. I was instructed to "mash the lemon as finely as possible and mix it in," so I did just that. The first bite was a light tartness and the delicious scallop butter. Wow, isn't this the best, unique dish in Tsukishima? ??? Tsukishima has a lot of different kinds of monja, but this place was on a whole other level. I tend to check Tabelog and Google just in case, but honestly, they can sometimes be completely unreliable. I discovered this restaurant by pure chance and was truly delighted. The drink was a tomato sour, which went perfectly with all the food. Don't pass it up just because there aren't many photos. This is a place you should definitely try. Next time, I'll go earlier. Thank you for the meal! ”

“ The second floor has a tatami room atmosphere. It has a very Showa-era feel. The glass windows also have a Showa-era feel. The monjayaki is delicious. The specialty seafood oyako monjayaki comes with a seasoning sauce and was absolutely delicious. The food, service, and atmosphere would all be 5 stars, but the restroom was Japanese-style. ... I only went there once or twice while I was using the restroom, so if you don't mind, this is a great restaurant. ”

“ So delicious! The monjayaki was the best I've ever had! It's amazing how the salmon roe in the oyako monjayaki isn't even cooked through. It was so luxurious I rolled my eyes and savored it (꒪⌓꒪) The tuna cheeks, sourced from Toyosu, were exquisite and almost steak-like! The texture was firm, yet tender and melt-in-your-mouth, with a light, addictive fat. It's a secret: the horumon (I think it was marucho) was even better than the one I had at my favorite horumon restaurant. The sauce was sweet, and I honestly want to come back for more. The monjayaki described as "onion-based" apparently contains grated onion. The refreshing sweetness was something I'd never experienced before, and it was genius. The worn tatami mats, rice cracker cushions, and wall signs all add to the retro feel of this place, adding to its downtown vibe. As the restroom is Japanese-style only, consideration may be needed for foreigners and those wearing skirts. The first large store we went to had been commercialized for tourists, so we visited this private store with a tatami room. It was the weekend, but luckily we were able to get in without having to wait, although a long queue formed afterwards. I'd definitely like to visit again! ”
